My friend Courtney wrote a letter to The Ellen Show and got a response. I didn’t think much of it just thought that it would be cool if their response to her letter would maybe lead to a little exposure. Then the other day my friend told me about an episode of Ellen where they gave away some SUV’s to some ladies to take a road trip… Then I got to thinkin… maybe Ellen could help me get the SUV of my dreams? A Honda Element! One that I could live in and develop my comedy tour. It would be like upgrading from a studio to a one bedroom apartment, so I wrote her and now I’m reaching out to everyone I know and asking them to write to her.
If you don’t feel inspired to write on my behalf that’s fine I don’t expect it BUT if you like me, think I’m a nice guy and feel like what I’ve been working on and trying to create has merit OR if I’ve inspired you to think that maybe you should take a risk and follow your dreams then I sincerely offer you my thanks and hope that her mailbox overflows! C’mon everyone is doing it…
Just so you know the hiatus is going well… my mom’s couch is the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on but HEY I’m not paying rent so I’ll keep my complaining to a minimum. I may have to go out as the Homeless Hunchback Comedian but that only makes me funnier.
I’ve been slowly sifting through pictures and footage that I will potentially write about and post here but being back in the real world kinda sucks in the sense that instead of spending my days at coffee shops writing and editing I am back working at one and don’t do anything except make lattes and return people’s indifferece with smile
