Livin Out The Legacy or Livin In One…
Dear readers and friends, I know it has been quite some time. I assure you I am OK. Not that any of you give a shit anyway since no one sent me any sort of a message “Hey, you haven’t blogged in a while… are you alive?” Well except Brant, you told me I need to update my blog… and indeed I do…
So you are all probably thinking I failed or quit or gave up. Some of you may have even liked if that were true because you don’t believe in yourselves. I might even like myself better if I gave up this whole concept/idea/lifestyle, can’t say I haven’t thought about it, even vagabonding on my level takes it’s toll on you.
The truth is I’ve been hibernating/gestating/creating and figuring out what to do where to go next… Thanks to my buddy Taylor and his AWESOME camera we have some doc footage in the can waiting to be edited into a short promo trailer for some prime time pitching. Who knows, maybe the Homeless Comedy Experiment will be playing in a living room near you later this year.
16 months of “homelessness” minus a few months at my moms and various other family members I still have managed not to pay rent anywhere and that feels awesome! $400-500 a month goes a lot further that way. That may change soon since I have decided to make LA my new home for a while and have a job with the Los Angeles Homeless Services Coalition or the LAHSC if you’re hip to acronyms. The Homeless Comic raising money for the homeless!
I’m still in the process of building my personal legacy while the Legacy I drive and live out of is still holding on. Not bad for and $950 investment to carry me across this great land of ours, speaking of which, I gotta run… I’m hitting the road right now on my way to Park City, Utah for the Sundance Film Festival! If I don’t come back with a producer in my pocket it’s because I froze to death or died in a back country avalanche at the Canyons…
