Feeling Charitable With Your Hands
January 14th, 2010I have no idea if this “inspiration” streak will last. 2 posts in a month… WOW! I didn’t consciously make a resolution to post more but maybe my inner blogger still wants a chance to shine… who knows…?
Anyway, I ran across this video some time ago but I think it is still relevant even though the holidays have passed. There is never a bad time to give or feel the spirit of giving. This is a much needed PSA and very well made. It did make me a little jealous, however, of real homeless people. I am afraid I don’t really qualify for these benefits.

September 22nd, 2009OK, so I am trying to put my iPhone to good use. I sat behind this guy on the bus in Chicago today and you get a birds eye (whatever that means) view of it! This activity of his was going on for a good 2-3 minutes before I decided to record it and share this moment with you. After all, that is the gift of technology isn’t it? Allowing people to share moments like this in a “you had to be there” kinda way? Granted this is only a small glimpse of what I saw and how I saw it, you get the point. No longer do I “wish you were there to see this” I am bringing this exactly how it happened only moments ago (how many moments depend on when you read this, days, weeks, years from when it actually happened) on Tuesday September 23, 2009 at 12:03pm Cental Time.
Really? How out of it are you that you start fondling the handrail on the bus like it’s a cock? Man people are sick! Oh well, I am probably just as sick for recording.
I really have no idea what compelled me to even write this and share it…
I guess we all have those moments when we do things that we are not aware that we are doing. When we zone out and our subconscious mind takes the wheel.
Sometimes I guess we all need to have someone say to us “HEY STOP JACKING OFF THAT POLE ON THE BUS!”

Sketchy Sketch’s Sketch
July 27th, 2009Homeless people get a bad rep because a lot of times they don’t to anything in return for the money they ask for but that is what I liked about Sketch!
His ad said it all…
I met Sketch in Chicago, he was willing to talk about his homelessness on camera, so we talked while he drew my face…
What do you think?
I interviewed Sketch about how he got into the situation he is in and what he wanted to do about it BUT if you are a reader of my posts you will know that I am slow to churn out video content. He was kind enough to share some quick words of advice though.
It is hard to tell if he’s a Catholic or a Hippie…? There is a full interview coming soonish!

July 14th, 2009IF you are curious about me these days I am in Missouri for a few weeks AND yes my life and experiment are still a work in progress… I have a love/hate relationship with technology and it usually takes me 10x as long as the average nerd to get shit together to post BUT I promise it is coming…
